This summer Bulgari Boutique located at the world’s most elevated high street, Via Serlas 22, will present artworks of London based artist, Mauro Perucchetti.
Via Serlas is the adress to some of the most famous names in the world, from Cartier, and Ricci, to Zegna, and now - Perucchetti. Bulgari fine jewellery and watches, will be on display side by side with Perucchetti’s work, “UNICUM is a series of wall sculptures which I started in the 90's. With this work I have pushed the boundaries of what is physically possible with my pigmented resin. Every work is hand sculpted first, then cast in pigmented resin and finally painstainkly polished with a process which is time consuming, technically challenging and took me many years to perfect. The result is a series of wall sculptures which are unique and a celebration of the beauty of colour and form.”, stated the artist.
It is easy to see the Italian sense of aesthetics in the DNA of both Bulgari's and Perucchetti's work. The Italian art of watchmaking is juxtaposed with Perucchetti‘s ground-breaking art ideas at Via Serlas 22, St. Moritz, from 15 July to 15 August.
